The Beaches

The climate is typically Mediterranean, with hot summers but without
the humidity of other seaside locations. There are relatively unspoilt
beaches nearby, with cool water even at the height of summer, and
good surf, due to the Atlantic tides. The most famous of these is
Paradise Beach, 10 mins from town.
